Our Reviews
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the beginning. The advisor I worked with did not appear to be sufficiently knowledgeable about the pricing, services being requested, or the dealership’s service process. I initially called regarding a specific service and was transferred to the Parts Department. However, the advisor was unable to provide me with an estimate for either the required parts or labor. I also had to make two trips to the dealership because the multipoint inspection listed on my original receipt was not actually performed during my initial visit. When I returned to have the inspection completed, I received a text message with recommended services. I approved several of those recommendations and have the printed documentation showing the services I approved, including my agreement to the stated prices. However, when I went to the service counter to confirm the services and pricing, I was given different prices than those I had previously approved. I was told that the original estimate did not include the parts or labor. I explained that I had not approved the revised pricing and requested that those services be removed. One of the items, for example, was listed at $1.99. I asked the advisor to resend the invoice with accurate pricing. When the invoice was resent, additional items had been added that were not included on the original invoice I had reviewed and approved. This further contributed to my concerns regarding the accuracy and transparency of the pricing and communication. I was also dissatisfied with the technician’s diagnosis. Rather than providing a clear and professional diagnostic explanation, the invoice repeatedly referenced a "smell" as the basis for the diagnosis. I did not detect the smell being referenced, and I do not believe that a subjective observation such as this, without further supporting diagnostic information, provides an adequate explanation for recommending a repair or service. When I questioned the diagnosis, the invoice was subsequently updated. I ultimately took my vehicle to another facility for a second opinion, and the issue identified by your dealership was not the actual problem. Overall, I am concerned about the lack of accurate pricing information, inconsistent communication, incomplete service, changes to the invoice, and the quality and documentation of the vehicle diagnosis. As a customer, I expect to receive clear pricing before approving work, accurate documentation of services performed, and a professional, evidence-based explanation of any recommended repairs.
Pleasant and professional atmosphere I was greeted with professionalism . It was pleasant to see the employees smiling. I was comfortable.
I bought my car from them back in 2022. That was fine but the price had a markup. However, that was true of EVERY dealership back then. Had to have a new car, had to pay the inflated price. Now that warranty has expired, beware of service department. A couple weeks ago, my hatchback on my 2021 Rogue got stuck in the up position. Would not come down except by force. Service department said I needed a new hatch assembly and shocks for about $6,000. I had also been having an issue with my fuel gauge not ever going to FULL when filling up. They diagnosed it as needing a new fuel tank assembly for $2,400. Yikes! I the guy I dealt with in the service department was named Price. He was very nice and explained things to me as best he could. He didn't blame me for wanting to get a second opinion. He also tried to get the mechanic to come out and talk to me but he never did. Fast forward to visiting a local independent mechanic. He "reset" my hatchback somehow and that seems to be all it needed. He didn't replace anything and it's working fine now. Saved me $6K! He also thinks the gas gauge issue is something else and it does not need a whole new fuel tank. We'll see if that does the trick. Not sure if this is necessarily malicious uncharging but rather just really lazy work and not fully investigating the issue. I don't think I'll be back Stone Mountain Nissan. I was considering trading in with them but I won't be doing that now either.
I feel so violated by this dealership that it is still difficult for me to put it into words. So disgusted. Just know the price of my car was grossly inflated and my 700 credit score and the fact that I am a loyal Nissan buyer were dismissed. I walked out with a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder for 70k and a car note of 1305.00 for 84 mo ths. It happened quickly. So I say dont purchase from this dealership. They care more about the dollar than their customers and their lending in my opinion can be predatory if you are green to car purchasing as I was. The greed is disgusting. Someone from corporate please call me because I am about to return this car back to Nissan and never purchase another Nissan again.
Dishonest dealership, sales department and the service department. I have requested a copy of my 84-point inspection report and have yet to receive it. I have reason to believe it was never completed which would constitute a breach of contract. Find another Nissan dealership to go to. Please DO NOT trust this one.
Do Not Purchase a Vehicle from Stone Mountain Nissan Stone Mountain Nissan does not demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction or service. Their so-called “customer promise” of respecting time, honest marketing, meeting customer needs, and clear pricing explanations is not upheld. Less than 30 days after purchasing a vehicle, the check engine light came on and the car began shaking. I immediately contacted the dealership. Darius (salesman) instructed me to have the vehicle towed to Nissan service, where Ricky would perform a diagnostic. I made it very clear to Darius that I did not want the vehicle back due to the engine issues. Darius assured me I could be switched into another vehicle. The car remained in Nissan’s possession for over a week. When I arrived at the dealership as directed, I spoke with Q (floor sales manager), who stated they could not switch me into another vehicle because my loan was too new. Instead, he asked me for additional money and a co-signer—even though I had already qualified for the loan on my own with a down payment. During this entire process, no one could provide me with a clear explanation of what was wrong with the car. Mr. Q vaguely mentioned that “some cord” was the issue, while Ricky suggested it might be the ignition cord. This lack of professionalism and accountability was deeply frustrating. All I wanted was to be treated with respect and fairness—either switched into a reliable vehicle as promised, or refunded my down payment. Instead, I was given the runaround, ignored, and left without a real solution. Stone Mountain Nissan failed to take ownership of their responsibility. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration.
